Jared Press is a LEED® Accredited Professional and certified Sustainable Building Advisor. Specializing in sustainable development, green building and resource efficiency, Mr. Press has expertise in research, analysis and communications. He has led comprehensive reviews of the Washington Smart Growth Alliance’s flagship programs, The Recognition Program and The Regional Conservation Priorities List. He has served as Managing Director of the Green Century Institute (GCI), guiding GCI’s organizational strategic planning and managing multiple programs, including their EcoCity Feasibility Study and Project Indonesia Initiative. Mr. Press has served as media consultant and analyst to Common Current and Text 100. He was a co-founder and served as Head of Content Development for TheRealRetro.com, LLC, an online t-shirt company. Mr. Press also serves as a consultant to the Environmental Institute of America, helping the Institute develop LEED training courses for building professionals. Mr. Press holds a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan.
